Growing up in Northeast Kansas, I developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors at an early age. I was introduced to hunting at only four years old, pursuing eastern wild turkeys and whitetail deer, and quickly developed a lifelong passion for the outdoors. Over time, that passion expanded to include waterfowl hunting, where I found a particular love for the pursuit of ducks and geese.

Since then, I have been able to build a career in the outdoor industry, guiding hunts across multiple states throughout the United States and gaining valuable experience in diverse environments. I have also had the opportunity to take my skills internationally, guiding in Saskatchewan, Canada.

The passion from my childhood grew into a full time profession, and has been nothing short of a dream. I take pride in continuing that journey,  creating memories, and building relationships that last a lifetime.

I have been passionate about hunting and the outdoors for as long as I can remember. Growing up chasing waterfowl, turkeys, and deer across the Midwest I have developed a deep respect for wildlife, conservation, and the traditions that make every hunt memorable.

As the owner and operator of a successful outfitter in Wisconsin, I have built a reputation for hard work, attention to detail, and creating quality experiences for his clients.

As a guide Ben is dedicated to providing every hunter with an authentic waterfowl experience built on preparation, honesty, and a genuine passion for the outdoors. Weather its setting decoys before sunrise or watching birds finish into the spread, his goal is simple. Creating memories for his clients to cherish and to enjoy everything that makes waterfowl hunting special.

Being born and raised in the Kansas City area, we had to make do with the opportunities presented.My dad grew up in Minnesota and learned the art of Hunting and soon passed it on to me as early as I could remember. From trampling around public ground for deer with him, to dragging me across the marsh in a jet sled, the passion for the outdoors has been with me since then. Waterfowl has always had a special place in my heart since those days. Now being in my 20's and having spent as many days as I possibly could amongst these animals, I want to be able to share those experiences with others. One of my favorite and most unforgettable hunting memories was watching my younger brother knock down his first limit of green heads. Ever since then I've realized that it isn't always about the bird count or how bad the weather gets, or how stubborn the birds get, its about the creation we're so fortunate to experience, and the memories were able to create with those around us. I wish to create those memories with you, your friends, and your loved ones. 

I am a South Dakota based waterfowl guide with over 17 years of hunting experience and more than 6 years of professional guiding experience.

I grew up in Minnesota, where I was introduced to hunting at a young age. My passion began in the deer woods, hunting whitetails with my dad. Not long after, I was introduced to waterfowl hunting, and it quickly became a defining part of my life.

After completing college, I turned my lifelong passion into a career. I have guided waterfowl hunts across multiple states within the Central Flyway, gaining experience in a variety of terrains and conditions. I began guiding in Kansas in the fall of 2022, further expanding my professional background.

For me, guiding is about much more than putting birds in front of clients or spending every day in the field. It’s about building lasting relationships, sharing unforgettable experiences, and creating memories that stay with clients long after the hunt is over.

I've been around waterfowl hunting long enough to know that no two mornings are ever the same, and that's exactly why I love it. I've guided all over the U.S. in multiple flyways. I've even spent some time up north of the border in Saskatchewan .

I take a lot of pride in doing things the right way. Setting a clean effective rig, reading the birds, and making the right adjustments when the conditions change. I’ll do my best to put the birds right in from of you every time and give everyone a chance at a great hunt.

That being said I'll probably have some jokes up my sleeve, a little too much coffee in my system, and bunch of laughs ready to be shared.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple. Make sure you enjoy your time in the field, have a safe hunt, leave with good memories, and hopefully a strap full of birds.
